Update on NYMNet-XA Manila University Belt Ministry

Hearts Event held at the Chi Alpha Student Center last February.

“Now to Him who is able to establish you….” (Rom.16:25)

We were like the Israelites when they had their journey to the Promised Land. For the past 3 years, we have been roaming around Ubelt without a base to be called our own. We held our discipleship groups at fast food chains, and even food courts inside the malls. We have been to different transitions, but thank God for this school year, He has provided a center to facilitate the ministry.  The center envisioned to:

  • effectively reach out to and disciple the students in the university belt;
  • train students for effective leadership that contributes to kingdom building and national transformation;
  • equip student leaders, volunteers, campus workers and youth pastors for effective youth/students ministry; and
  • establish a national center for students outreach and discipleship.  The center will also facilitate the planting of churches in educational centers nationwide, and the planting of Chi Alpha campus discipleship groups in partnership with AG churches in the Philippines.

The center has been the home, hub and a place where student’s skills and talents are being hone for the glory of God. Discipleship groups and services are being held every week.

We also want to thank the Lord for STDC Section 2 executives for its support and endorsement so that the vision to saturate university belt will be possible.

Greater things are yet to come, and greater things are still to be done in XA Ubelt. As the school year is about to end, we thank God for the fruits and student leaders that have been raised.  Looking forward for the next semester, as we keep on discipling and reconciling students to Christ.

P.S Kindly visit our National XA student center ministries at P. Campa St., 2nd floor Arizona Tower Sampaloc Manila.
